Lymphatic therapy is contraindicated in the following cases.
- If you have been drinking alcohol before receiving lymphatic therapy.
- If you less than two hours have passed since the meal of the day.
- If you have skin irritation, rashes or wounds, or injuries such as broken bones.
- If you have an infection. (chills, fever, common cold symptoms or other infections).
- If you suspect pregnant or currently pregnant.
- If you have been swelling in the lower limbs due to heart disease or other diseases.
- If you are possibility of worsening heart failure or pulmonary edema.
- If you have acute venous disease such as deep vein thrombosis or phlebitis.
- If you have a malignant and are currently undergoing treatment. (except if you are in palliative care).
- If you have swelling due to kidney disease, etc.
- If you have been diagnosed by a doctor not to receiving lymphatic therapy.（Heart disease, Kidney disease, Lung disease, Hematological disease, Immune Disease, Gastrointestinal disease, Arteriosclerosis obliterans, etc.）
- If you are having diagnoses by a doctor with an illness that requires limited fluid intake.
- If you had acute allergic reactions (Anaphylactic shock) in the past.
